Summer Camp

July 19 2015: Today we are going on a trip to a camp that is 4 and 1/2 days long. It took 2 hours to get their but when we did get their they welcomed us with cool music and high fives by all the people that are cabin leaders. When we finally moved our stuff into our cabin, we had to go to the pool to take a swim test. So I did it and I got a wristband. Then I decided I was going to stay their, and I was there for 4 hours. After i got back to the cabin i heard a horn which meant dinner. So I rushed to dinner and it was amazing food. After we ate, we had to go to the club room to welcome us in with music. Then after them doing songs, we head back into our cabin. At the cabin we didn't do much so 2 hours (2 in the morning) later we went to bed. In the morning we had to wake up at 8:25 and dinner turned out it was in 15 minutes. So I got changed and ran to the dinning hall. The breakfast was really good. After the breakfast I decided to go to the pool and I was their for 3 hours then I got changed and got lunch. But after lunch I went to the pool for another 5 hours. At the pool i made a friend and his name is Will. He was kinda funny. After the 5 hours we had to go to the dining hall for dinner. Our dinner was great and so was the desert. Then after the dinner we went to the club room to listen to the band play the same songs over and over again. After the club room we all went back to our cabin to go to bed. We all stayed up for another 3 hours, so we went to bed at 2:00 am. Today I woke up at 8:00 with 25 minutes until breakfast. I got dressed and heard the horn so I went to breakfast. We had a great breakfast and I went to the pool. One hour later Adam (leader of the cabin) told our whole cabin that we were going tubing. So as I went to the cabin and after i got dressed, I went to the docks to go on a tube. After waiting 10 minutes for an available tube, we got on and starting riding. It was so much fun and I fell off the tube 2 times!!! 1 hour later Adam told us that we had to go to the beach and to wear our one use only clothes. So after I got to the beach, we all played musical chairs... With an egg and chocolate syrup. It was a lot of fun. 

Fireworks in DC

July 4, 2015: My dad and I went to Washington DC to watch the fireworks today. They were awesome! We brought a sheet, some watermelon, chicken, drinks, and Uno and we had a picnic on the National Mall. There were so many people there. The fireworks were incredible!

Golfing with Dad

June 24, 2015: My dad and I went golfing today and we got a golf cart. My dad also got the 9 hole side so we had nine holes to play. The game was very intense and the 8th hole was very long. I used my driver club like 3 times in a row. At the final hole I won. After I won we returned all of my stuff and we left.

Camping on the Beach!

June 19 - June 21, 2015: My dad and I went to a camp with G.J, Hazel, Kaleena, Izzy, Derrick, Amanda, Joanne, JoJo, Tina, Okelea, Uncle Joe, and Uncle Jim. When we got there my dad and I built our tent. After we made the tent I went to the beach that was in front of our campsite and went into the water. When I got out, all of us had some very good hamburgers. When we finished our dinner we played some board games like Jenga and Sorry. But whenever someone lost they had to eat a disgusting jelly bean from the game Bean Boozled. When we finished the games we had s’mores and did Wish Lanterns which floated up into the night sky. After all that everyone went to bed. The next day I woke up and had cereal then I went into the water again, but this time I didn't go in for a hour or two, I went in for 3 hours! When I got out we ate sandwiches for lunch and I noticed I got a tiny sunburn on my back. I thought the water would make it better so I got in for 3 more hours and when I got out I had a huge sunburn on my back. Then we had dinner and after that was more s’mores.

But after we had s’mores everyone was getting stuff from the inside of their tents and brought them inside their houses, but the people without a house left. Then I realized a storm was coming, so I went inside and 30 minutes later their was a HUGE storm that broke our tent, but good thing we brought our stuff inside and went inside. Okelea already left because he knew the storm was coming. My dad thought it was fine to leave some of our stuff so during the storm he put on a poncho and went to get the stuff we left. He got most of the stuff, also including an air mattress so we could have another bed, and we all went to bed. The next morning Joanne, JoJo, and Hazel already left so G.J made french toast and eggs and it was very good. After breakfast my dad and I got our stuff and left.

Shelf and Golf

Sunday April 25 and 26: Today my dad and I made a shelf that I designed. So we went to Home Depot and we got wood for the shelf. When we got to the board cutting machine it was broken. Then we had to go to the other Home Depot to get the same wood and go to another board cutter. When we got the pieces for the shelf and started to make it. The next day (April 26) we painted the shelf in white and when it dried it fit perfectly for where I was trying to put it. After the shelf was finished we ate lunch. After lunch my dad, Okelea, Izzy, and I went to this place called Top Golf, it was awesome! When we got there we played miniature golf. After that, we bought 3 games of balls (20 balls a game) and started hitting on the big course. In the middle of the 1st game we ate food which were chicken wings for my dad and Okelea, Izzy got Chicken Fingers, and I got a hamburger and fries. At the end of the 1st game I hit 7 of my golf balls in the targets in a row which brought me to 2nd place. Then at the very beginning of the 2nd game I hit 10 of the golf balls in a row in a target which made me hit 17 in a row in the targets! At the end of the 3rd game Okelea was winning by about 45 points and my dad only had 9 points, but my dad still came back in his last few shots and got 1st place!

My weekend

March 14th and 15th, 2015: Yesterday I helped my dad get a tan couch for $250 by holding the doors for him to get it through. Before that my dad rented a van so we were prepared for the couch. When we were done getting the couch into the house, we watch the "Maze Runner" movie and ate lunch. The next day we went to Chipotle to get some soft tacos which were good. After that we went to a frozen yogurt place called "16 Handles". Then we went to a candy store and got Jelly Belly jelly beans. Then we went to play basketball.

Sledding, Snowballs, Snowman

Wednesday January 21, 2015: Today I was picked up from school early to go sledding with my dad. When we got home I did my homework. After that my dad and I played some Uncharted 3. Then after that my dad and I went sledding. At the hill we were just at we built a ramp using snow to go sledding.  Once we rode the ramp a few times we had a snowball fight and I lost. Then when we were building our snow forts we decided to build a snowman instead. We got a snow ball and put it together with other snow to make a big ball for the bottom, medium for the body, and a small head. When we finished we needed a carrot for the nose and something for the eyes so we went into the closest restaurant to us and asked for a carrot and some beer bottle caps for the eyes, mouth, and buttons. When we put the carrot and the buttons on the snowman it looked awesome!!! Then we went home to get some hot chocolate.

The Best Christmas Ever!!!

December 24th and 25th 2014: On Christmas eve I was at my moms house celebrating Christmas eve by going to church and opening my presents. When my mom and I went to church they were singing christmas songs and talking about christmas. After the church Dan, my mom, and I went back home to open our presents. One of my presents was lego ninjago set. Then after that I got a really good lego set which was lego minecraft set The end, and my mom surprised me. She surprised me by saying it was echo's bed and it ended being my present. The next morning at my dads house on Christmas day we went to Dunkin Donuts and I got a muffin. When we got to he house there was a huge line of presents from the christmas tree to the door. From the line of presents I got a new desk, new chair, two Percy Jackson books, new PS3 games, gum, lego minecraft set, redstone ore block, lego hero factory sets, gameband, hexbugs, pencils, new PS3 controller, a baseball bat, a new desk and chair, an ender dragon, colored pencils, and a small wooden chest. Then at night we went to aunt Lori and uncle Pete's house to have feast. The feast was meat, soup, pie, and antipasta. After the meal we went home and played video games and went to bed. It was a GREAT Christmas!!!

Outdoor Ed

December 15th-17th: Today I went to Outdoor Ed and when we got off our bus we ate lunch at our lunch tables. After that my cabin and I went to set up our cabin and get ready for stream study which is about catching fish while examining to see what type of fish they where. After a 15-20 minute walk down the mountain we finally found the stream and the teacher started explaining how to catch the fish and how to figure out what fish our fly where in the water. When he finished talking my group caught a Crane fly. Once we finished examining it we put it back where we found it and went back up the mountain to go write the information we had in our journals. After we did that it was dinner time and we had pasta and potatoes but dessert we had bread pudding that was really good. After dinner my group and I went to do tie-dye and I made my shirt blue, green, and purple. Once tie-dye was over we took a night hike which was not really hiking it was just seeing constellations in the stars.  After the nigh hike we went back to our cabin we went to go to a meeting and we just talked about what we did today. Then we went back to our cabin to go to bed at 10 p.m.
     The next morning at 7 a.m I took a shower and brushed my teeth while some people took a shower and everyone brushed there teeth. Then we went to go eat breakfast which was french toast and eggs and was amazing. After breakfast my group and I went to go for predator/prey which was you had four lives and if someone tags you, you have to give up a card to the player who tagged you and you also had to stamp your card if you found a fake berry bush or fake water supply. I was a herbivore and I died because I didn't get two berry bushes and so I died. After predator/prey my group and I went to lunch which was hamburgers and fries and for dessert was a cookie. Later my group and I went to the gym/confidence course where we did a game called you got mail, nuclear reload, frizzy ball toss, and jump ropes. At the end of class Mr. Cratsley told three random students to where blue at dinner time for a gig. After dinner there was a two man band who just sang a bunch of random songs for the students while the three other random people and I where rehearsing the three blue trolls. Then after the gym we went to a place where a man told us about the civil war and showed us a gun fire which was really really cool. At the camp fire we played the gig and two other gigs. After the gigs we had a s'more. After the campfire we had went to the meeting again and after the meeting we went to our cabins. At the cabins we brushed our teeth and went to bed.
    Today was our last day so we packed up all of our items and prepared to go home and our last activity was treasure earth which was really cool because we got to look for boxes on a map that had cool stuff in it. When we got back from treasure earth we had lunch which was a corn dog and corn which was good.  After lunch we got back on the bus to go home.

New York

November 30, 2014: On the way home from Massachusetts my dad and I went to New York. We parked close to the world trade towers. When we got to the world trade towers we saw a big waterfall in a box with names of the people who died there in 9/11. After that we decided to go and find the Statue Of Liberty. Once we found the Statue of Liberty we went on a boat to get there. When we got off the ship we saw the Statue Of Liberty up close and went to the gift-shop to buy a souvenir. After we left the Statue of Liberty we decided to drive to Time Square and my dad and I thought it was really cool. A youtube channel named Hooplaha asked us if we wanted to play Christmas trivia and I won the game while my dad sucked at the questions. Then we decided to go home.

Massachusetts Trip

November 27-29 2014: We left our house at 5 a.m to go to Massachusetts to go see Uncle Joe, Uncle Jim, Gram, Pete, Aunt Lori, and Aunt Midge. When we got at aunt Midge's house I had Thanksgiving dinner which was turkey, mashed potatoes, and veggies. After I ate my food I went outside to play in the snow and built a snowman, then Uncle Joe ambushed me by throwing a hard snowball at me while I was making a snowman. When I went inside I pranked Uncle Joe by smashing a cupcake in his ear! When we left we went to Gram's house and played Yahtzee and I beat them by getting two Yahtzees. The next day Uncle Joe, Uncle Jim, my dad, Pete, and I went to the beach and had a taste test between two pizza places. Then we went to an arcade and we played Fruit Ninja on a big screen and got tickets to buy a toy airplane. After that we went to the beach and I played for about 10 minutes and then we had to go. The next day we went to the beach again but it was only my dad, Pete, and I. When we got on the beach we looked for shells and found some big ones! When we were walking my dad found a sand dollar. After that about 20 minutes later Pete found two more sand dollars. When we were walking back, the water way got higher and we had to go around. When we crossed the water it was really cold. Since the water was so cold after my dad and I got on the other side our shoes were wet while Pete took his shoes off and put them back on when he got to the other side so he was fine. After walking half a mile we finally got to the car and drove home. Later that day it was Aunt Midge's birthday party and she was turning 75 years old. When we ate the food was really good and desert was even better. The next day we headed back home at 7:30 a.m.

Camping, KOA, Candy, Concoctions

Saturday September 27, 2014: Today Uncle Joe, Amanda, Uncle Joe's friends (Jimmy and his daughter Jayce) Hazel, G.J., Leena, my dad, and I went to camp KOA to camp. When my dad, Hazel, and I got to the camp, G.J. already rented an R.V. Later we rented boats and raced each other to a certain point and turned back so we can do trick or treating early at the camp. Once everyone got their costume on a lot of people went to get candy at the R.V's. After that we had dinner. After dinner Amanda opened her presents because it was her birthday. One of the presents she got was Jenga Boom. So we went inside the R.V and played and whoever lost had to eat a mixture of something gross that we could find in the refrigerator. I lost once, my dad lost once, and Leena lost once. We all had to eat a spoonful of the nasty concoction. After that we had smores, then a while later we went to bed. In the morning I had a baseball game so I had to wake up early and leave early so I can play. At the game we beat them 13-1.
